January calendar -- Winter Wonderland

No, not that Winter Wonderland. (Aimee Mann fans, you know who you are).
So, the Christmas episode was a bust for Christmas-y Pam/Jim moments (I suppose they unwrapped their gifts at home -- heh- possibly in front of the evil clown poster.) And there were practically NO Jim/Pam moments in the Jan 15th episode. So, I decided to take a trip back to the season of angst to find a tender little wintry moment worthy of putting on a desktop. Enjoy.

December calendar -- coming soon

Hey everyone -- if any of y'all are still waiting on the December calendar, I'm going to hold off until after this week's episode. I'm thinking it will be worth the wait for new material. (Just my hunch, no spoilers involved.)

Thanks for watching my LJ!

November: We miss Pam

Hey everyone -- how'd it get to be November already?  And why the hell is Pam still in NYC?  While I have no doubt she'll come back to Scranton (and more importantly to Jim!), I still miss her.  Last week's episode helped a LOT, with Pam's running commentary on the office.  (Heck, she misses ANDY! )
I hope this helps those of us who are missing Pam.  Jim's in some excellent company.

October calendar: Mission Accomplished

So, are everyone's asses sufficiently kicked? I can imagine the writer's room now. "What's less romantic than a parking lot?" "A gas station! Yeah, the message-board freaks will go nuts about that! HA!"

Thanks to the HH for making me laugh & helping get my mojo back. Mwah!

September Update

Here is the September desktop update.  Yes, it's a retread of August (now!  with added origami dove!), but ZOMG!  New material soon!  Can you stand it?  Enjoy.
Now that I've done my civic duty, I'm off to watch my S4 DVDS....

August calendar: Jim's turn

You guessed it, the August calendar is Jim's bulletin board, filled with 'bonus gifts' from his trips to NY to see Pam, plus some notes to himself and business cards he's picked up while doing a little wedding planning.  (In my mind, the proposal happened within 24 hours of the documentary cameras packing up for the season).  If you missed Pam's bulletin board for July, it can be found here.

Since August is so late, I'll post a September version of this same desktop at the end of the month.  (There's only so much I can do without new material, people!)

Those of you who haunt the MTT fanfic archive will recognize a few of Jim's souvenirs.  The compass is a gift from Jim to Pam in Moxie's Twelve More Days, and I'm sure Colette suggested the idea that Jim would take Pam to Italy for the honeymoon.  Oh, and the Dandy Travel Agency is a real travel agency in Scranton.  I'm sure Jim D'Andy would book with them.

Jam!Smooches to y'all for your help in finding my mojo.

Hey, if Jim can save a hot sauce packet and a mini-golf pencil, then you know he'd keep the ticket stub from when he took Pam to see "Legally Blonde: The Musical".

August desktop -- sorta.

Hey there Office-fans who are still waiting on my August calendar -- I made a little something to hold you over. This month, the 'official' Office calendar desktop features Jim and that ferret they put on his head for the last half of the season. Egregious!

So I fixed it with Smoking!Hot! Convention Jim. Hope nobody minds...  It's only in whatever dimensions the NBC folks provided, but it will help you keep track of important goings-on in the month of August, until I get my
original calendar posted.  Well, quasi-original - it is all based on other people's ideas, after all), but this ought to soothe the savage beasties ;o)

July calendars: Summer School

Thanks for hanging in there, everyone!  I took some inspiration from some of the fabulous fanfic that is out there, speculating about Pam's summer at Pratt (and some steamy visits from a certain paper salesman. Heh.) The Chinese menu is for [info]colette , in honor of her fic, August. Oops, I almost forgot the fortune. You just know Pam saved it. So in case you can't guess, this is Pam's bulletin board in her barely air-conditioned sublet in Brooklyn where she is spending the summer, being Fancy New Art Student Beesly.

In my own personal fanon, Pam & Jim cleaned up pretty damn good when they went to her cousin's wedding. (Of course she needs some couple-y snaps to look at while she's working so hard.) And that sweet boy Jim sent her the Scranton postcard as a joke. What a kidder.

ANYHOW -- this one took a while as pretty much everything is a photoshop fabrication.  Or something I gleeped off of the internets.  Or a combination of the two.

July calendar still to come...

Hey y'all -- I've been out of town for a while, and while I am conquering the ginormous pile of dirty laundry, I'll get to making the July calendar.  Besides, it's a holiday weekend -- it's not like you need a calendar right now anyway, right?

Thanks for watching my LJ!

June 2008 Office desktop calendars

Ok, the smoke from the fireworks has cleared and the shock of the season finale has worn off (a little) and I found some mojo with which to make the June calendar.  Susanita & EverybodyHurts' banners helped a lot, too.  Let's all think about the pretty, shall we?

The foil moon & star background are from the digital scrapbook kit "Starlight", by Lynn Grieveson of Designer Digitals, (one of my favorite digital scrapbooking sites).  Watch my LJ or friend me to get a notification when new goodies based on The Office become available.

June 2008 printable calendar: Still Perfect

Two weeks ago, I didn't think I even wanted to do a June calendar. But thanks to some very wise (and wild) women I know (you know who you are!) I'm back from the ledge and have some pretty for us to enjoy.  The foil moon & star background are from the digital scrapbook kit "Starlight", by Lynn Grieveson of Designer Digitals, (one of my favorite digital scrapbooking sites).

May Calendar: I am NOT kidding.

Here's the May calendar as a desktop wallpaper. If you want the printable version, it's in this previous post. (Yes, its sort of girly, but hey, there is a JAMgagement on the horizon -- what do you expect?)

If you like the butterfly elements (very FNB, no?) and papers I used, they are from a free digital scrapbooking kit called "Promise", available at the Shabby Princess.  Go & check it out -- her site is fabulous.

May Calendar: Jam-gagement on the horizon?

Happy Office Thursday everyone!!

How could I not dedicate the May calendar to "Chair Model"?  Too much adorable was packed into those last few minutes.  I wanted to add some caps of my new favorite game "What's in Jim's pocket?", (from [info]lovegiveforgive's freaking awesome JAMspam), but I decided just to let the pretty speak for itself.  (With any luck, we won't be able to play that game anymore because the ring will be on Pam's finger where it belongs!)

Ahem.  Trying to remain calm.  The desktop versions will be coming in the next day or so. Watch my LJ or friend me to get a notification when they're available.  If you like the spring-y butterfly elements & paper I used, they are from a free digital scrapbooking kit called "Promise", available at the Shabby Princess.
If you are going to print the calendar, I'd recommend the PDF format (8 MB). I also recommend using 8.5" x 11" photo paper and the highest quality print settings your printer will allow.

April calendar: Office Fools

Nope, not a joke! I actually have the April calendar ready an entire day ahead of time. (We got enough of that in S3. And it wasn’t freaking funny.) Thanks bunches to Susanita for the elusive screen cap from the deleted scenes. You can never have enough Pam/Jim joint talking heads.

Also, I know there are like a bazillion John Krasinski appearances in conjunction with the release of Leatherheads, I opted to list just the bare minimum of important dates. But yeah, mark off those Thursday nights. We've all got a standing date.

The desktop versions will be coming in the next day or so. Watch my LJ or friend me to get a notification when they're available.

March calendar: Back to Work!

March kind of snuck up on me -- oops.  Not to worry, Jenna Fischer's birthday isn't until Friday, so you didn't miss anything important. Here's your printable Office calendar page for March 2008.  Desktop versions are here.  Watch my LJ or 'friend me' to get notified when I post new goodies.  Yadda, yadda....

But first, credit where credit is due -- the storyboard is adapted from an original work by the inimitable Moxie. If you hang out at MTT, you know who she is and have seen her work. If you haven't, clear your calendar, you have a lot of reading to do.  She rocks.

Also, the storyboard idea was inspired a wonderful comic by Susanita aka [info]pamcasso , but I can't find it on her LJ any longer. She has others. Go & look. Thank me later.

Also, thanks to all the folks who helped me scrounge up screen caps and generally have creative ideas that I steal am inspired by.
If you are going to print the calendar, I'd recommend the PDF format (8 MB). I also recommend using 8.5" x 11" photo paper and the highest quality print settings your printer will allow.
